Emil Forsberg is a target for both Everton and Liverpool, according to the Daily Star. The Swedish international was watched by scouts from Everton when his club side Red Bull Leipzig beat Fortuna Dusseldorf 3-1 last Monday but Jurgen Klopp is also very aware of the 24 year old due to his contacts back in Germany.
Forsberg may be available for £12million and has played an integral part in Leipzig’s promotion push as the German side sit second in the table, level on points with league leaders Freiburg, 6 points ahead of third with 4 games to go in Bundesliga 2. They did however lose their last game 1-0 against Sandhausen at the weekend. So far this season, the left winger has scored 6 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.
One issue is that even though Forsberg only joined Leipzig from Malmo back in January last year, he has just signed another contract back in February this year to stay at the German club.
