Fiorentina striker Khouma El Babacar is a subject of interest from both Liverpool and Sampdoria, according to tuttomercatoweb. The 23 year old is expected to leave the Italian club at the end of the season and the Florence club are expected to hold out for €6m for the player.
The Senegalese U20 international has had spells on loan at Racing Santander, Padova and Modena in the past few years with his best goal scoring season coming in 2014/15 when he scored 20 league goals on loan at Serie B side Modena.
In the last two seasons, Babacar has been involved in Fiorentina’s first team in Serie A and this campaign has scored seven goals in all competitions from 15 starts and nine substitute appearances. His last match came in early April, starting the 1-1 draw against Sampdoria, before being substituted in the second half.
With Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge among the goals, and Danny Ings expected to return from injury for the start of next season, it is doubtful how much first team action Babacar would get if he moved to Anfield.
