Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport are reporting that Liverpool have “shown interest” in signing striker Alvaro Morata from Juventus. The Italian club are keen on signing playmaker Isco from Real Madrid and they are willing to let Spanish striker Morata leave. The newspaper believes that, in addition to Real, Arsenal, Chelsea and the Reds have all shown interest in signing the striker.

One complication is that Real Madrid do have a buy back clause of €30million in Morata’s contract and to meet the valuation of Isco, Juve may offer Morata back as part of the deal. If this does happen however, this may not be the end of the story as it has been suggested that Real may still be willing to re-sell the striker to England.

Morata has struggled for form this season in Italy scoring 10 goals from 25 starts and 17 substitute appearances in all competitions. His last two goals came in the Turin derby against Torino in a 4-1 victory back in late March.
