Liverpool, Everton and Inter Milan are all targeting Paris St-Germain’s unsettled goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, according to Buzzsport in France. Sirigu was first choice up until last season but young German keeper Kevin Trapp, who was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, has been favoured by PSG manager Laurent Blanc this term and Sirigu is now looking for a way out to get more first team opportunities.
Sirigu has appeared just twice in the league this season for the French club with most of his appearances coming in French Cup. At 29 years of age, the Italian could still have his peak years ahead of him and he may be tempted to return to his homeland with Inter. The Italian club are looking at stepping up the chase for the keeper in the next few weeks as Sirigu angles for a move away from PSG in the summer.
Both Merseyside clubs will also step their interest, according to Buzzsport, at the end of the season, with Jurgen Klopp being linked with a host of keepers, the most recent being Sevilla’s Sergio Rico, to replace the inconsistent Simon Mignolet between the posts for the next league campaign.
