Liverpool have been linked with Stuttgart left winger Filip Kostic. The 23 year old is courting the interest of a host of clubs according to tuttomercatoweb.

The Reds, along with German clubs Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Schalke 04 are all keeping close eyes on the Serbian International midfielder. Stuttgart are said to have a €20 million release clause in Kostic’s contract and Jurgen Klopp may have to meet the asking price to get his man.

Kostic made his debut for Serbia back in June 2015 in a 4-1 friendly victory over Azerbaijan in Austria. He replaced Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic in the 56th minute. He went on to make his competitive debut for his country against Denmark in the same month. He has now made 7 appearances for his country.

The young winger started his career at Radni?ki Kragujevac before joining Dutch Eredivisie side FC Groningen in 2012. He has spent the last two seasons playing in Germany so Klopp is most likely already aware of his abilities . He has made 27 appearance for Stuttgart this season, scoring 5 goals and assisting 5 others. He mostly plays on the left hand side of midfield but is occasionally picked on the right.

Stuttgart currently lie 12th in the Bundesliga with 33 points from 28 games.
