Young Belgian Midfielder Samiel Bastien is flattered by the reported interest being shown in him from big clubs. Talking to tuttoavellino.it, Bastien said however his future has not been decided yet:

“At the end of the season I will be back in Belgium, as I am still an Anderlecht player. Nothing has been decided about my future. There is interest from big clubs? For the moment they are just rumours, but being associated with a great team for me is very important.”

Bastien is currently on loan at Serie B side Avellino from Belgian side Anderlecht, and has appeared 25 times in the league, scoring 2 goals in the process as the Italian club sit 13th with 4 games to go in their league campaign. Fiorentina have now joined Liverpool and Sevilla in the race to sign Bastien, according to Calciomercato, and are apparently looking at purchasing the player after his loan spell at the end of the current season. The Reds, Sevilla and Fiorentina all believe the young Belgian has a bright future in the game, with TalkSport reporting last month that the Reds were preparing a £5.2m bid for the starlet. With increased competition for the youngster, it is likely Anderlecht will hold out for a considerable fee. Bastien made his Belgian U21 debut at the end of March, coming off the bench in the 2-0 victory against Moldova.
