Reports coming out of Spain suggested that Liverpool have made an offer to sign Real Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos next summer.

Spanish newspaper Diario de Sevilla are reporting that Liverpool have made contact with Real Betis regarding 19-year old Ceballos to join the Reds next June. It is also being said that a house and car have been arranged for the player so that he settles in much easier on Merseyside.

Ceballos has an £8.5million buy-out clause in his current contract at Betis and would reportedly sign a deal worth £1.1m a year on Merseyside. From what is being said, Ceballos is a similar player to Cesc Fabregas and was a regular player for Betis as they won promotion to La Liga from the Segunda Division last season.

Liverpool continue to make investments on young players for the future. The likes of Raheem Sterling and Jordan Ibe have benefited from Liverpool’s policy of giving youth a chance and I am sure we are going to see many more young players get their chance in the first team in seasons to come.
