Premier League action returns to Anfield tonight (Monday) as Liverpool well newly promoted Bournemouth. On paper one would say this is a guaranteed three points for the Reds but as we know, anything is possible in the Premier League, and I am certain Brendan Rodgers and the players will not be taking this game lightly.

Liverpool got off to a winning start last weekend against Stoke. It was not a great performance and it required a wonder goal from Coutinho to clinch all three points. Based on the Stoke performance, I feel that Brendan Rodgers may make two changes to the starting lineup that went up against Stoke.

Here is the predicted starting lineup to take on Bournemouth:

Simon Mignolet (GK)
Had very little to do against Stoke but what was clear to see is that he still needs to work on his feet especially when it comes to making clearances.

Joe Gomez (LB)
Young Gomez put in an assured performance against Stoke and Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for the defender as he was up against an experienced winger at Stoke and he managed to hold his own. Alberto Moreno is waiting in the wings to reclaim his left-back spot from Gomez, but he will find it hard at the rate Gomez is going.

Nathaniel Clyne (RB)
Clyne has come in an done a solid job so far at right-back. It is refreshing for once to have a sold right-back who can defend firstly rather than looking to go forward most of the time. There is very little competition for Clyne so far at right-back until Flanagan is fit again.

Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren (CB)
Brendan Rodgers has made it clear that he was impressed with the Liverpool backline against Stoke and he is set to keep his partnership of Skrtel and Lovren for as long as he can. Many fans still believe that Sakho is a better option than Lovren but only time will tell. Lovren currently is in pole position and he must know that any slip up and Sakho will get his chance.
