Liverpool are planning to announce the signing of Burnley striker Danny Ings before the end of the season, according to reports.

Ings, is free to join any club this summer as his contract at Burnley comes to an end.

A number of Premier League sides have been interested, whilst Italian and French clubs have shown interest in making a Bosman move for the 22-year-old.

Whilst, Real Sociedad have also been keen and hosted Ings for contract talks earlier this year, but failed to agree a pre-contract.

Manchester United have been the most frequently linked English side to the striker, but according to various reports and sources close to us, Ings will join Liverpool this summer.

Anfield bosses have been locked in talks with the English striker in recent weeks, and have now come to agreement.

An announcement is expected to be made before the end of the Premier League season, which has now been hurried after Sean Dyche’s side were relegated on Saturday afternoon.
