Liverpool have suffered an injury blow following the news that Jordon Ibe is likely to be out for a month with knee ligament damage.
The 19-year-old had been impressive since being recalled from a loan spell at Derby County, with man of the match performances against Everton and Besiktas in the first leg of the Europa League clash.
He was withdrawn after 70 minutes in Istanbul on Thursday, and missed Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City.
He is now set to return in early April, after a scan revealed the winger had suffered knee ligament damage.
Liverpool have better news on the injury front with Steven Gerrard having returned to training after a hamstring injury.
The Liverpool captain is set to return to action against either Burnley on Wednesday, or against Blackburn in the quarter finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.
