Liverpool will attempt to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings before the close of the transfer window, according to BBC Sport.
Brendan Rodgers is willing to loan the 22-year-old back to Burnley for the remainder of the season in order to complete the deal.
Ings – who is in the final six months of his contract at Turf Moore – has previously been linked with Tottenham, and most recently with David Moyes’ Real Sociedad.
Ings has fired seven Premier League goals for the strugglers this term, having hit 21 Championship goals last term to help Burnley to automatic promotion.
