Liverpool have agreed a deal with AC Milan for the transfer of Spanish playmaker Suso, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 21-year-old was expected to sign with the Serie A giants on a four year deal when his contract expires at the end of the season, but now it looks as if the deal will go through this month.
Suso made 21 appearances for the Liverpool first team and scored one goal, after signing from Cadiz in 2010.
He was a fixture in the starting XI during Brendan Rodgers first six months in charge at Anfield, and impressed last season on a loan spell with Spanish club Almeria.
Liverpool fans were expecting to see more of him this season, but he has only made substitute appearances in the Capital One Cup – where he scored his only goal of the season against Middlesbrough.
He suffered a groin injury shortly after that match, and has only recently returned to training.
