Mario Balotelli could make a January exit from Liverpool, with the Express reporting Olympiakos want to take the misfiring Italian forwas on loan for the remainder of the season.
Balotelli has not started for Liverpool since the 1-2 home defeat to Chelsea in November, and has still not managed a Premier League goal since his summer move from AC Milan.
Balotelli has been replaced by Raheem Sterling in a new 3-4-3 formation, and with Daniel Sturridge set to return from injury shortly and summer signing Divock Origi rumoured to be cutting his loan spell at Lille short this month, the former Manchester City man’s future is up in the air.
Brendan Rodgers recently admitted he doesn’t think Balotelli suits Liverpool’s style of play, and the forward may be keen to make the switch to Greece in order to play regular first team football between now and May.
