2014 has been a strange year to be a Liverpool fan.

Brendan Rodgers side have gone from the sublime to the terrible in little less than six months, from challenging for the Premier League title after 11 consecutive victories, to mid-table mediocrity.

The Reds currently occupy eighth place in the Premier League table, and head into 2015 five points adrift of the top four.

Whilst that is not a task that is beyond them, it is a far cry from where they were only last April – just seven points away from their first Premier League title.

Whilst it has been a rapid demise, 2014 should still be looked back on with some good memories for Liverpool supporters – who were treated to some fantastic football and superb goals – particularly in the first half of the calendar year.

Here we have looked back on the Reds goals from 2014, and identified our top five.
