Steven Gerrard refused to give much away when questioned on his Liverpool future following the Reds 1-3 win over Leicester City.
Gerrard answered his critics with the second goal and a man of the match performance at the Kings Power Stadium, in a week that has seen his future the subject of much debate.
Gerrard was left out of a Premier League game for the first time under Brendan Rodgers for a reason that wasn’t injury related during the 1-0 win over Stoke on Saturday.
The Liverpool boss has since revealed the 34-year-old has been offered a new contract at Anfield, but Gerrard refused to give much away regarding his future.
He said: “I will decide when I am ready.
“There is nothing to say, when there is the fans know I will come out and say what I need to say.”
Someone should be planting a horses head in Stevie’s bed .
