A small section of Liverpool fans are leading a campaign to get Brendan Rodgers sacked as Anfield boss, according to various reports.
Twitter account @RodgersOutClub has gained 2,851 followers, and has unveiled a design for a banner which plans to be flown over Anfield for Saturday’s clash with Chelsea.
The banner ironically reads: Brendan Rodgers is a football genius. Forever in love with Southampton and Swansea’s footballers. £215million spent on absolute rubbish. #RodgersOUT.
The Reds currently occupy seventh place in the Premier League, with 14 points from their opening ten games, despite Rodgers having spent close to £120million on new players in the summer.
They head to take on Real Madrid in the Bernabeu tonight looking to avoid a third consecutive Champions League defeat.

If Brendan is not being good enough for Lfc then he should be shown the door. LFC is probably the worst team in Europe so far.
The Twitter account mentioned is run by a Man U fan, the sheep who are following it are a mix of fans from other clubs and glory hunting so called reds who often say Youll Never Walk Alone without knowing what it actually means.
If you look at the Rodgers out banner it looks quite similar to the Moyes out banner seen flying over Castle Dracula, change the picture a bit of text Bobs your Uncle.
Also im not being funny but you would need a Jumbo jet to get a banner that size off the ground!!

I’m always amazed at how unintelligent certain “fans” are. Here’s a young manager who almost won the title in his second season, who transformed the team into one of the most attractive, offensive teams in Europe scoring over 100 goals in the process. He turned Suarez into a world-class goalscoring machine and raised his value to 75m pounds (would’ve been more but for the biting). He helped Sturridge become one of the best strikers in Europe, helped Sterling become one of the most sought after young footballers in the world. To name but a few examples. Take a dominant, world-class player out of any team and they will suffer. Take Ronaldo out of Real (although they obviously have Bale as well), take Messi out of Barca (although the also have Neymar and now Suarez), take Robben out of Bayern (although they have Ribery), take Hazard out of Chelsea….The addition of new, quality players was necessary and those players are still integrating into the team. The unfortunate injury to Sturridge has been a big blow because our attacking young players – Sterling, Coutinho, Markovic, even Balo – needed that quality presence up front. Which is why our best game was with Sturridge and Balo together. The one criticism I have is that perhaps Rodgers could’ve gone for a striker that was more suited to our movement and style of play. After failing to get Sanchez, who would’ve been ideal, perhaps we could’ve gone for someone less known but more suitable. SO, anyone who’s calling for the manager’s head is to me plain stupid. If you want success every year, rain or shine, go support Bayern, Real, Barca. This year will be difficult for Liverpool and patience is needed by all. You don’t change managers just because you’ve had a few bad games. Dortmund is languishing in the relegation zone but Klopp is still considered a genius. Thankfully Henry and FSG are far more clever and sensible than the trolls roaming the internet, looking to stick the knife in.

I don’t think Rodgers has philosophy
He is using a second hand philosophy he has taken from Spain and Holland and frankly I don’t think he understands the idea of this football totally.
His players are not moving off the ball (when you try to play pass and move this is a huge problem) and he plays narrow not using the width of the pitch. Two major mistakes if you try to play 4:3:3 or anything similar.
Now when we have 2 excellent Dutch coaches in England his short fallings become too obvious
i say why take 2nd hand copy of Dutch coaching if we can take the original (De Boer for example)
