Liverpool are poised to beat both Arsenal and Tottenham to the signing of MK Dons starlet Dele Alli, according to the Express.
The Reds have already been in touch with MK Dons over a potential January deal, with Brendan Rodgers making the signing of the 18-year-old attacking midfielder a priority signing.
Tottenham have also been in touch with the League One club, but Liverpool remain the firm favourites for the signature of the player dubbed ‘the English Messi.’
The Reds are understood to have discussed a package which is set to see MK Dons pocket £9million with various add ons.
Dele Alli would be expected to complete the move to Anfield in January, before being loaned back to Karl Robinson’s side for the remainder of the 2014-15 campaign.
