Many Liverpool fans would welcome Jamie Carragher back in the side, having watched the poor defending on show since the Reds legend retired back in 2013.
And for a moment it looked as though that may be possible when Carra drove up to the Reds Melwood training ground today – only to remember he was supposed to be on his way to the gym.
Carragher has made a name for himself as one of the best pundits in the game since hanging up his boots, but had a moment to forget today – quite literally.
He posted on Twitter: “Anyone ever drive to there[sic] previous employment without thinking? I’ve just drove to Melwood! Supposed to be going the gym!!”
