A new survey has discovered that Liverpool are the most common choice for people’s second favourite team in England, reports the Metro.

The survey also says the Reds are the ‘least offensive’ side to follow in the country.

Brendan Rodgers side pipped Arsenal to the prize in the survey conducted by William Hill, which asked a variety of supporters which team they would choose to watch after their own.

Over 2000 fans were asked for their opinion, and 48% of those who plucked for Liverpool said they picked them because of ‘tactics and team style’.

So at least that’s a small piece of good news in what has otherwise been a pretty wretched few weeks…
