AC Milan club administrator Adriano Galliano has moved to quash rumours of a £17.5million offer from Liverpool for Mario Balotelli.
The London Evening Standard report the following quotes from Galliano:
“At this time we have not received any offer from Liverpool for Balotelli,” AC Milan club administrator Adriano Galliani said to Gazzetta dello Sport. “Hence, there is no negotiation.
“We will see as the transfer market ends on September 1st.”
It is the final quote from the Milan man that suggests that that his club may be expecting movement in the near future and speculation continues to grow.
Balotelli represented Italy at this year’s World Cup scoring once, the winner against England.
