Adam Lallana’s recovery from a knee injury is going well according to the Daily Mail. Lallana suffered knee ligament damage whilst training during the USA Tour and has been pictured recently wearing a supportive brace on his right leg.
It is reported that the England international has cleared a ‘significant hurdle’ in his rehabilitation and is on target to be fit to face Aston Villa on September 13th at Anfield.
The 26-year-old is yet to appear for Liverpool, having completed a £25million move to Anfield from Southampton following England’s elimination from the World Cup.
Lallana will begin running again at Melwood this week as he steps up his recovery.
