Liverpool will complete the signing of Alberto Moreno from Sevilla in the coming days, according to the Daily Star.

The Reds have been chasing the Spanish left back all summer, and appear to have finally agreed a fee with the La Liga club.

Sevilla want Moreno to play in the UEFA Super Cup final against Real Madrid in Cardiff on Tuesday, before finally completing his move to Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers has already seen two bids for the 22-year-old rejected, although now a deal of £16million appears to have been agreed, whilst a deal that will see Spanish youngster Suso move in the opposite direction is also being talked about.

Do you think Moreno will prove worth the long pursuit? What do you make of Suso possibly moving in the opposite direction? Let us know your thoughts below.

I do think the Moreno deal is one of the best pieces of business Liverpool has done this window. Although, it would have been much better if it had been concluded much sooner. However, when it gets completed, at least the time spent has not been a total waste. Not quite sure about Suso headed the other way though. He has shown promise over the summer. Maybe it is a case of too little, too late.

Any sites where we can compare the performance of this guy with other left back.
