Liverpool look set to complete the loan signing of Spanish full back Javier Manquillo from Atletico Madrid, subject to the player passing a medical, reports the Telegraph.
The 20-year-old has flown into Merseyside to undergo a medical, and the deal could be announced officially on Monday.
The Reds have agreed a two-year-loan for the young right back, with an option to buy or release him at the end of the period.
The fee would be based on how many appearances Manquillo makes during his time at Anfield, but the figure being mentioned is likely to be in the region of £5million.
The Spaniard is set to become the Reds seventh summer signing, following the arrivals of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi.
And reports suggest an eighth signing could soon be on its way, with the Reds said to be close to reaching an agreement with Sevilla for the transfer of left back Alberto Moreno.
The Reds have been chasing the 22-year-old Spaniard all summer, with the La Liga club demanding £20million for the Spanish international, although an agreement over a fee and a payment structure is understood to be close to being made between the two clubs.
