Cynics will rightly doubt his commitment to the club but the owners deserve huge credit for tying down their prized asset. For a number of reasons the deal was just massive for everyone at liverpool, its lifted the fans and players, its banished any doubt there might have been Suarez might have left in January but it also means that if he does ever decide to leave the club again, Liverpool are guaranteed to get top dollar with rumours circulating his buyout clause dwarfs the fee Madrid paid for Gareth Bale. Credit must go to John Henry who not only handled the summer saga with class but has also proven he willing to pay the big money when needed. The re-signing of Suarez could just be the catalyst hat fires Liverpool to something special this season. What were they smoking at the Emirates by the way?
