Liverpool midfiedler Suso left the club in the summer to go out on loan to La Liga side Almeria. Suso has been having a brilliant season there and he has revealed that Liverpool were not keen on letting him go out on loan but the player himself asked to leave so that he could go play football regularly. This has turned out to be a fantastic decision by the Spaniard.

Suso told Liverpool World, “It was a good chance for me to show everyone that I could be a good player and an important player for Liverpool. I was really happy to come back here, I had never played in the First Division in Spain – I wanted to try.

“Liverpool wanted me to stay; they didn’t say I had to go on loan. But I know there are a lot of good players at Liverpool, maybe I wasn’t going to start games. I am young – the most important thing right now is that I have to play.

“There was a chance to come here and I was happy, the club were as well. They said it is a good chance to show I can play football at a professional level.

“For young players, the option of going on loan somewhere is a good thing for everyone. You have to learn, you have to improve and you have to play football.”

Suso has managed 13 appearances for Almeria this season and already grabbed two goals and five assists. Although Almeria are struggling in the relegation zone in La Liga, the 20-year old midfielder has been their star player. The experience he is gaining at Almeria is second to none and it will make him a much better player when he returns to Liverpool next season. One just has to look at the video below to see how well he is doing out on loan:

Must’ve been soul destroying for him , Shelvey , Spearing and others to see Lucas getting selected week in week out , as Shanks would say ” a travesty of justice ” thankfully BR seems to have seen the light , people talk about premier league being about pace , power and vision etc Lucas possesses none of these , and the ” he does a job ” thing just does not wash . Window cleaners ” do a job “

i dnt no,but in my opinion lucas seems to miscalculate opponent passes alot so i guess lfc should look for a new defensive midfielders in there quest for top 4 this season.
