We have been privileged to see some great goals from Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby over the last couple of seasons. We have managed to sift through the many goals and come up with the five we enjoyed most:
5) John Arne Riise
Goodison Park, Premier League, 2001 (Everton 1-3 Liverpool)
When Riise scored a goal during his Liverpool spell, most of the time it was a memorable one. There is no difference to this one in 2001 when the left back when on a counter attack from his own half, ran inside Steve Watson and bamboozled him before hitting a perfectly placed shot across Paul Gerrard.
