Liverpool’s teenage sensation Suso has lit up La Liga with his fine displays for Almeria. This form has gotten Liverpool fans excited and wondering how well Suso will do when his loan spell ends and he returns to Anfield.
In Suso’s 11 La Liga appearances for Almeria so far this season Suso has contributed five assists, the last of which came at the weekend against Valladolid. Added to this, 19-year old Suso has managed one goal for his Spanish side.
Five assists for Suso means that he has more assists than Messi in La Liga this season which is quite a feat. Only Cesc Fabregas, Koke and Neymar having contributed more assists than Suso in the Spanish top-flight during the 2013-14 season.

Suso joined Liverpool’s academy in 2010 and has since made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Liverpool first team. But Brendan Rodgers decided to send him out on loan in the summer so that he can get more regular football. A move which has worked out very well as Suso is certainly getting more minutes on the field.
Here are some fans responses on Twitter with regards to Suso:
Why did we ever allow suso to go on loan

@LFCTransferNRS I think all players we loan out should be like suso. Go to a team in a top league not go to a League 2 team. 2 Progress more

Suso doing really well on loan in La Liga. Would you take him back in January if possible?

Hoping BR realised 5 at back isn't helping the defense nor midfield. Time to control games & keep possession. Bring back Suso too @lfc #lfc

You can tell from Suso's play that he's learnt a lot from Suarez, the willingness to take on a player and take them to the byline!

Some fans fear that Suso may opt to stay in Spain after his loan spell. But Suso spoke about his decision to join Almeria, despite other major offers, and stated his desire to return to Liverpool.
“I had bigger offers than the Almeria one, in particular one from Germany, but I wanted to stay attached to Liverpool, an important team for me. When I learned of Almeria’s interest, I didn’t think twice. My goal is to play as much as possible, experience La Liga, and help my team to stay up.”
It will be interesting to see how Suso fits into the Liverpool side next season. Can you imagine a side boasting Suso, Coutinho, Sturridge and Suarez on the same pitch? Now we just need to get our central midfield in order!
two fine goal, also from jao texiera midweek against boro in U21,s
i have watched suso for a long time the loan spell is what we needed to do for him playing time is what these lads need and now what suso has got, lets hope the more playing time he gets the better he becomes if he isnt going to get a start most weeks with us we need to leave him out on loan his game has been great for a long time tracking back was the problem for him he now seems to be working on that i would put sterling out aswell
hoping and praying Suso comes back and is given more chances.
Am I really the only one who thinks the transfer decisions made this summer has seemed a bit rash?
We send out Assaidi, then realise we have no wingers so take Moses on loan on the last day of the transfer window.
We send out Suso, then when Coutinho gets injured we have no backup for the no. 10 role and have to use Moses! there.
The centre half bonanza as well is almost ludicrous. Why oh why do we need 7 centre halfs!
Oh, forgot Pacheco there. Another nr 10 backup.
if @ advanced role we can integrate suso, alberto & coutinho i thick chipping goals from midfield can increase & goal threat + ball control. hence striker suarez & sturridge will keep scoring from al corners.
