Steven Gerrard joins a list 23 other Premier League stars who have scored 100 goals in the league. Gerrard reached this milestone against Newcastle United during Saturday’s 2-2 draw.

Following his 100th goal, Gerrard said, “It’s a good milestone for myself and it was nice to tick that one off. But I went away from Newcastle slightly disappointed we didn’t get the three points. I’d swap the goal for two extra points because where we finish in the league is my priority.”

Reflecting on Gerrard’s 100 goals, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers picked out his favourite Gerrard goal out of the 100 by selecting Captain Fantastic’s free kick against Newcastle in 2007.

“Probably for me his best Premier League goal came on this ground (in 2007) when he hit an absolute screamer here from a free kick. It was fitting for him to get his 100th goal here, because I think he always scores against Newcastle.

“He’s an incredible player, and all the superlatives that are talked about him are true. He’s got many more goals to come too. He’s 33, and he’s played two really big international games this week, and yet he still plays a really good game today for us. He’s still fresh and looking really good.”

Not a bad selection at all by Rodgers. It is very difficult though to pick one stand out goal from Stevie’s 100. Below is a video of all 100, which one is your pick?
