Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that Jermain Defoe is not for sale at any price as he still remains an important member of the Spurs side. But reports are suggesting that Defoe wants to leave Tottenham and join a team where he would be getting more game time in a bid to secure his place in the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2012 tournament.

Defoe’s desire to want to leave Tottenham has reportedly caught the attention of Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish who needs to sign a new striker in a bid to fire us into the top four.

Defoe is the kind of goal poacher that we need right now and signing him would be a great move for Liverpool in my opinion but I doubt spurs would be willing to sell such a player to a team challenging them for the top four.

i think you’ll find we ain’t challenging spurs for anything, we can’t get close to them and are not likely to while we have nobody who can score a goal!
