With the January transfer window now open, there is going to be a lot of speculation surrounding players coming in and out of Liverpool. The latest rumour according to The Metro is that Dirk Kuyt could be on his way out of Liverpool this January with a move to Galatasaray.

Kuyt has not started many games for Liverpool this season and these limited opportunities could see the player seeking a move to a club where he will get more regular game time, especially ahead of Euro 2012 where Kuyt would be hoping to be a started for the Holland side.

It is being reported that Galatasaray are willing to pay £10million for Kuyt which would be the same amount we paid Feyenord for his services back in 2006.

With Kuyt getting on in age, 31-years-old, and not being a regular starter for the side, do you think it would be a good idea for Liverpool to sell him?

Yes, definitely. Sadly, I have to admit that Kuyt is in decline.

I love Kuyt but i think its time for him and Liverpool to move on. I’d love to see Miloš Krasi? playing for the reds.

Dirk’s been steady, but he is not world class. if we really want to get back to the top, players like him should be moved on. id walk him to turkey for 10m.

    10 mil,yes
but certainly we need a good replacement like cavani/soldado/hunteler/podolski/tevez and not like young ones like zaha/de jong

Tt’s a vry bad idea.whetr he is old or nt,daglish shuld nt mak d mistak of saln Kuryt. Hw is lvpul farn nw witout Meireles

If we can get £10million for him then I would say definately sell him. It would be sad to see him go as he is strong squad member and works tirelessly for Liverpool but football is now a business and if we get the opportunity to recoup our initial outlay (or make a profit) on a player reaching the end of his career then I say we snap their hands off and invest in a young quick winger.

No we’d better get a couple of quality striker first before talk of selling one..Carroll is a waste rather take him out and get podolski and rodallega

  11. Robert says:

i think its time for Kuyt to move on. we are LIVERPOOL and we dont need work horses who can run 100 min but class players who can switch on for 10 minutes during a game and score possibly 2 goals or assist in creating a goal. its time. Kuyt, Aurelio, Maxi must move. infact, Cole, Aquilani must also be shipped out. use any money to get in quality class players.

Out with old, in with the new. Time to build the club for a big 2012-13.
