The Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra saga continues to drag on. This surely must come to an end soon so we can move on away from it. It is now almost three weeks since Evra claimed that Suarez racially abused him a number of times in the 1-1 draw at Anfield. Suarez has denied these allegations.
Kenny Dalglish has spoken and said, “The FA have been here and spoken to us.”
“Our philosophy and desire has not changed whatsoever – we want it resolved as quickly as it possibly can be and want the perpetrator punished.
“I don’t think we need to add any more than that.”
There is no video evidence to suggest Suarez racial abused Evra. Surely if Suarez was guilty there would have been a video already and further to that, no player on the field has come out and said that they heard Suarez saying anything bad to Evra. If Suarez is found not guilty then Evra must be punished for his actions.
