With Liverpool only missing Glen Johnson and Steven Gerrard from the squad to travel to Arsenal on Saturday, we have a virtually full strength team to pick from. The lads have had the whole week to train with no distractions of European football or Internationals so we should be more than ready for this game.
Arsenal on the other hand have just lost their captain in Cesc Fabregas who has gone to Barcelona and although Wenger has said that he will play Nasri if need be, the players mind must surely be on his move to Manchester City. But we should not under estimate Arsenal as we have found it hard to win at the Emirates but this is our best chance as they also have injuries and suspensions to key players coupled with them playing in mid-week in the Champions League qualifier.
From our side, not many fans were happy with Dalglish opting to start with Flanagan at right-back ahead of Kelly but I think Kelly will get the start this weekend at right-back as Johnson continues to recover. I see no changes in the rest of the back-line with Carragher partnering Agger and Enrique at left-back.
Midfield is always going to be the point of debate when we speculate starting lineups for Liverpool this season. I will start with the easy choice, Downing will be on the left. On the right we had Henderson last weekend but I would like to see Kuyt come in on the right for Henderson. In the middle of the park, I see Dalglish sticking to Adam and Lucas.
Up-front, Carroll and Suarez should continue their partnership.
So that means: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Agger, Enrique, Kuyt, Adam, Lucas, Downing, Carroll and Suarez.
