With Liverpool looking for another striker to join the club this summer to provide cover and competition to Suarez and Carroll, Kenny Dalglish may have just targeted Wigan’s Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega according to The People.
It is thought that Wigan value Rodallega at £9million and they would be willing to sell the 25-year-old striker if they get a bid for that price. Rodallega is entering the final year of his contract and may not sign a new deal soon which means Wigan may just decide to cash in on him now that lose him for free next summer.
Rodallega may not be the kind of ‘big name’ that Liverpool fans would expect Liverpool to sign but he has Premier League experience and has been banging in the goals for Wigan ever since he joined the club in 2008.

I think this is not a bad idea. I think this guy is a very decent striker and agree with njanja that he might even be better than carrol.
perfect choice too keep competition for places up, but if suarez is injured then we cant play carrol and rodallega together because they have too similar a style of play… a good signing nonetheless if we get him.
ngog is also very good at only 22, but rodalegga would be an awesome signing becuz he has been in the prem for 3 yrs and wigan wanna cash in cuz of the 12 mnths left on his contract,
