The Mirror is reporting today that Dani Pacheco could be joining relegated Blackpool on loan for the whole of the coming season. The young Spanish forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Norwaich where he had a very good spell. Now he may go back to the Championship and try help Blackpool gain promotion back into the Premier League.
Pacheco going to Blackpool on loan could have something to do with Liverpool signing Charlie Adam. Maybe one of the conditions of Blackpool agreeing to sell Adam to Liverpool was that they would get one, if not more, of our players on loan.
In the case of Pacheco, he has shown a great deal of potential at Liverpool with many fans calling for him to be given a chance in the first team. But with the limited games Liverpool have this season due to not having any European football, Pacheco’s chances will be limited in the first team and thus a move to another team where he can get regular football would be beneficial to his career.
But I wonder if Pacheco sees it this way? Maybe he can see that he will not get his crack at Liverpool anytime soon and he may decide to leave the club permanently. It would be a shame if this happens as I believe in two or three seasons time, Pacheco is going to be a real gem.
if pacheco is the rising star that a lot of fans are desperate to see, then why could he not even make the bench ahead of the more than useless ngog? KK has seen him first-hand and obviously doesn’t rate him highly enough and, from what i’ve seen of him, i would have to agree!
What a waste of time sending him to Blackpool !!! He is indeed a “gem” for LFC.

Dani is an excellent prospect being wasted without being named in the first team… KK said last year that there is enough competition in the forward positions unlike in the other areas such as defence and midfield. That can be the only reason he has not featured… Hope he would be given chance soon, so that fans like Steve can really see what Dani is all about.
Chance to improve more, chance to be experienced.. Hope u’ll be the bullet next season for us..
Damien Comolli has confirmed that Liverpool are bringing 2 Chinese youth stars to Melwood for trials, he also said that Liverpool are scouting more Chinese/Asin players. Obviously they would sell some shirts, If good enough!!!!
Pacheco being loaned out again really annoys me. Shelvey and Spearing were given countless opportunities of playing time without really doing anything special, but Pacheco cant get a run. How will we ever know what he has to offer if we don’t give him a chance to show his class. i would love to see him and Suarez run rings around defenders. Go you mighty Reds.
This is a stupid idea, if he is to be loaned out it should be to a Spanish team. I could see him being a big success in la liga where the football is on the ground.
We might then get a decent fee for him next year. This guys skill will be wasted in the too physical championship.
Upon reading this am actually confused coz in my opinion dani should be given chance to show what he can n i believe the lad is good but then our beloved lfc is at a stage where we need players to hit the ground running which i don’t think the lad is capable of as of now so why not loan him to spain where his style suites most instead of dumping him in championship?in spain he can develope quickly.YNWA
it will be so painful for pacheco because he’s [pacheco]going to made him loose faith in lfc,it could’ve been better for the managers to keep pacheco in the team than sending him on another loan after he has just coming back from norwich city,there players that surposed go on loan like david ngog-jonjo shelvey.
