Liverpool are being linked with a £20million move for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon. Many Liverpool fans have already been talking about the pros and cons of signing Lennon. It is no secret that Liverpool need to sign a winger or two this summer to add some much needed pace and width to the squad. We have been linked with a whole host of wingers locally and from across the world. Stewart Downing seems the most likely to join Liverpool at this stage. Whether it is Downing alone or Lennon will also be joining Liverpool, remains to be seen.

Lennon has bags of pace and would be a valuable asset to the side as we lack that injection of pace. But is his overall game play that good? His crossing is a bit wayward at times and he would need to work hard on the defensive aspects of his game.

ElPistoleroJFT96 has put together a video for us showing Lennon’s goals and assists from last season. It all looks good as it is showing the good sides of Lennon’s game. I am sure if we were to have a video of his not so good moments, it could be a pretty long video.

What do you think of Liverpool making a move for Lennon?

Omce again going after mediocre British players instead of players with wolrd class talent..if he spends 70m on Downing, Lennon, Carroll and Adams .. he should be fired on the spot…yes.. I know that’s blaspemy..

i personally wouldn’t want aaron lennon to join us, i’d prefer adam johnson over lennon. but then, kenny dalglish has had a knack for buying mediocre players and turning them into superstars. didn’t the signings of john barnes and john aldridge make our fans from back in the 80s scratch their heads? didn’t breaking the bank for a young alan shearer make them blackburn fans a bit queasy? if lennon does arrive in anfield don’t be surprised if he turns over a new leaf and becomes a fantastic signing for us.
