With all the focus this summer being on Liverpool signing new players and one of them being a striker than we need to get that can provide cover to Suarez and Carroll, we may not have to go out and spend a fortune on a new striker as we already have a young striker coming through the ranks who is set to take Anfield by storm, his name is Adam Morgan.
Academy hot shot Adam Morgan grabbed the headlines by scoring in 13 successive games for the U18s and reserves in 2010-11. No matter what level you are playing at, that is a mean record. Morgan has already been likened to Kop Legend Robbie Fowler as the two of them seem to know where the back of the net is.
Former Liverpool defender spoke to Liverpoolfc.tv and has this to say about Morgan: I am going to pick Adam Morgan because he reminds me a lot of Robbie Fowler when he was at Liverpool.
I know that’s a big statement but I played with Robbie and trained alongside him every day at Melwood, and there are similarities.
Morgan is still a young lad but he has this fantastic attribute of being in the right place at the right time.
He knows where the goal is and he works hard as well and, therefore, is my one to watch for next season.
