7 Bosman Deals for Liverpool to consider

Sylvain Marveaux

Marveaux is a marvel not merely for his ability, but also for his utility. He can play in any number of positions in the midfield, but he’s been primarily utilised by his club Rennes as a left-sided midfielder. Unfortunately for Rennes, their contract with the winger runs out at the end of the season and the club are now resigned to losing the services of the talented 24-year-old.

Sylvain has been developing fast over the last couple of seasons – particularly under the tutorage of Rennes manager Frederic Antonetti. In the 2009/10 season Marveaux made 38 appearances and scored 12 goals – not bad figures at all for a winger. These performances brought with them a lot of attention from the Premier League, with both United and Chelsea showing plenty of interest in the French winger last summer.

He’s struggled this season with injuries, but when he has played he’s demonstrated once more why he’s in such high demand throughout Europe. It’s believed that Liverpool are the Premier League outfit closest to winning Marveaux’s signature and he could well be a wonderful signing for the Reds, should he stay fit.

It is believed that Liverpool have already agreed on a deal to bring Marveaux next season. Nothing official has been said yet but I think we are 90% done with this deal. Marveaux would be a great addition to our squad as he would provide some much needed width and pace. I am afraid though about his injury, will he be the same player he was before he picked up the injury? But since he will be joining for free, it is worth the risk.

    Great analysis.
    I have couple of reommendation.

David Vaughan of Blackpool (Central Midfielder) will be on bossman this summer . His stats are much better than Lucas , as he ranks no.1 in terms of tackles won at 97 tackle ( 77 % success tackle rate) and his 86% successful passes rate (only behind Chelsea’s Essien 87% ) ranking him 14th with 1304 successful passes .

Also on bossman is Oscar Wendt , the Swedish LB playing at F.C. Copenhagen and Sweden national team with 14 caps .

  2. no i disaggree with the rumours concerning KLOSE coming to lfc,he’s aging player and the new lfc does’nt want that instead of klose the managers should bring DIEGO FORLAN.
