Andy Carroll started for England on Tuesday night in a friendly international against Ghana. The game ended 1-1 with Carroll scoring the goal for England. It was a very well taken goal which just went to show the quality that the Liverpool number 9 possess. Many have said that Carroll can only header the ball but he is also very good with his feet. Hopefully his goal for England will spur him on to start scoring for Liverpool for the remainder of the season as we push for a fifth place finish.
