Ryan Babel will remain a Liverpool player this season according to Kenny Dalglish. Many of us had thought the the Dutch winger would be on his way out of the club this January to Hoffenheim after the German club had a bid accepted and the player underwent a medical. Babel was also thought to be in favour of a move to Ajax as part of the deal that would bring Luis Suarez to Liverpool. But now, neither of those moves seem to be on the cards as King Kenny has said Babel is staying.
“He’s staying here,” Dalglish said when asked about Babel.
Now does this mean the Suarez deal has fallen through thus Babel is staying or are Liverpool going to continue ahead with trying to sign Suarez and not use Babel as part of the deal?
Dalglish has come out and said that he is going to give every player at the club the opportunity to prove themselves so hopefully we can finally see the true Ryan Babel shine under Dalglish.
