The end seems to be here for Roy Hodgson as Liverpool manager. Liverpool went down 3-1 to Blackburn at Ewood Park last night. This must surely be the final straw to get Roy Hodgson sacked from Liverpool. There have been many lows for the team this season in the 6 months that Roy has been in charge but the lowest must have comes last night following the defeat to a Blackburn side which was missing 10 first team players.

The travelling Liverpool fans were at it again last night as they started to chant Dalglish’s name. The Blackburn fans also got stuck in with chants of “You’re getting sacked in the morning”. The Liverpool owners must have looked at this an wondered what they need to do and they have to do something about it, even if it is just a matter of coming out and making a statement that they still back Roy Hodgson (a statement that I am sure they will not make) or they should simply just say that they are not happy with the current situation and changes will be made in the next couple of days. They have to say something, unlike Roy Hodgson who is not prepared to talk!

Following the loss last night, Roy Hodgson was asked about his Liverpool future and he said, “I am not prepared to talk about that because obviously I am depressed enough with the performance and the result,”

“I have no comments to make and I have no intention to answer any questions on the subject.”

Someone please say something!
