It has been a dark time at Liverpool over the last couple of weeks. It started off with the whole ownership battle with Hicks and Gillet which was won but then straight after that, we went and lost to Everton. We seem to have partially sorted out our off field problems with the takeover of the club but on the field were are struggling big time!

We are languishing just off the foot of the table. I never thought I would live to the day I see Liverpool being in the relegation zone. Who do you blame for the demise of Liverpool?

It is very easy for people to blame this failure on Roy Hodgson, I myself do. Roy just seems out of his depth at Liverpool. He did okay with Fulham but this is a huge upgrade from Fulham and he has not lived up to expectations. What concerns me the most with Roy Hodgson is that I do not think he knows he is allowed to make substitutions! He takes forever to make a change when the chips are down and secondly his body language is all wrong when he is standing or sitting in the dug out. He is always wiping his face like he has sweat coming down when there is nothing. If I were a play and I needed some inspiration during the game, I can not turn to look at Roy coz he would just depress me more! So should Roy leave?

There are reports today following Frank Rijkaard leaving Galatasary, that he is in line to take over from Hodgson. I will not jump up and down with joy if Frank takes over from Roy but I would be a bit happy as right now I feel anything rather than Roy is better for us. Let us make a change now, early on in the season, than to wait until January when we really scrapping in relegation. Get Frank in now when he still has a chance to salvage the situation.

Should Frank Rijkaard replace Roy Hodgson?
