Just as it looked like we had finally found a solution for our left back position in the form of young Argentine, Emiliano Insua, we will be without the services of him for a month as he has been called up to represent Argentina in the Under-20 South American Championships. This comes as a huge loss to us as I have really enjoyed seeing Insua play in the last couple of games he has been called up to. With Aurelio out injured, I was never happy to have Dossena fill in at left back but Rafa gave Insua a chance and the young man took it with both hands and has not looked out of place in the first team.
At least Aurelio is fit again and can slot in at left back ahead of Dossena. Another positive could be that Insua could get valuable experience and game time at these Under-20 Championships and he could come back an even better player than before.
