On paper, you would expect Liverpool to get 3 points in the game tomorrow against Fulham at Anfield but I believe there is no such thing as an easy game in the Premiership anymore. But with that said, I still expect us to win. My only concern is that Fulham may come to Anfield and defend for 90 minutes and frustrate us. We have seen many teams come to Anfield and do that this season and at times we have been left short and failed to get the breakthrough. But against Fulham we have a certain Fernando Torres expected to make his long awaited comeback into the starting lineup.
I expect Torres to start the game following his goal in midweek for Spain. Torres looked good when he game on last weekend against Bolton and I just hope now that he has gotten his injury problems for the season behind him and he will start firing.
Gerrard is a doubt for the game having suffered a muscle tear so I do not think he will start. This means that Rafa is most likely to go with Alonso and Mascherano in central midfield and Keane and Torres playing together upfront. I like the position we are in now when we can almost be sure what starting eleven Rafa is going to put out. He seems to have found his preffered eleven and he is sticking to it. If I do not see the following lineup start tomorrow then I will be surprised: Reina, Arbeloa, Agger, Carragher, Aurelio, Riera, Mascherano, Alonso, Kuyt, Keane and Torres.
With that said, I see us getting a comfortable 2-0 win tomorrow. I just hope Fulham come out and play football and do not decide to just sit back and shutdown shop.
