Tonight could be the night we seal our place in the knock-out stages of the Champions League. If we beat Atletico and PSV loose to Marseille tonight then we are through. We have gotten off to a good start in this seasons Champions League compared to last season. Hopefully if we can seal our fate tonight then we can relax for the last two Champions League games and focus on the Premiership.

We need a good performance tonight especially since we had a bad day at the office on the weekend against Spurs. It is important that we bounce back straight away and put in a commanding performance against Atletico. It is not going to be an easy game but I believe we have the quality to beat the Spanish side.

Of interest tonight will be to see if Torres gets the chance to play against his former club. We all wish for Fernando to be back playing but Rafa says that the hitman is only 70% ready. I feel if that is the case then maybe Torres should not even come off the bench tonight and rather let him fully recover. We have been struggling to get goals in the last two games and I have no doubt that Torres would have made the difference in the games against Pompey and Spurs.

I see us winning tonights game 2-1 and hopefully this will get us back on track after the loss to Spurs.
