Another pre-season goal and another goal by Voronin. Voronin seems to be really staking a claim not only to play more games next season but also a claim to remain at Liverpool after suggestions this weekend that he could be off loaded to get some money in the bank to finance the Barry and Keane deals. I just do not understand how Voronin can have such great pre-seasons and then come the real deal he is a no show.
Besides Voronin scoring, Dossena made his first appearance for Liverpool and according to Rafa, he feels that Dossena did well. It was only his first game in the red shirt and it will take some time for him to get used to his team mates and the style of football played at Liverpool. I hope that he adjusts and settles in qucikly as he could be a really great asset.
