Thierry Henry recently said that he thought the Anfield fans are amongst the best he has played in front off. Who can disagree with him? Any player who plays at Anfield leaves with a special experience that can not be found at any other stadium in the world. Henry did not have the best of seasons at Barcelona since he left Arsenal and maybe he could be eying a move back to the Premiership. Could he be headed to Liverpool if he decides to return to England?
I for one would definitely welcome Thierry at Anfield. He may not be the great player he was a couple of season ago but he still has a lot to offer. Can you imagine Henry and Torres playing upfront together? That could be a lethal combination. I see Ryan Babel being like Henry in a few years to come and it would be great for Babel to have Henry close by so he can learn from him.
I know the idea of Henry at Anfield sounds a but far fetched but it is a possibility and we should not ignore it. And added to that, Henry and Gerrard are really close pals so who knows.
