The fixture list for next season has been released and as always there are a couple of things you look at first; the first game of the season. We will be traveling to Sunderland for the first game of the season. This is okay as I feel we will be able to take away all 3 points and it is a good fixture to get out of the way as playing Sunderland on their home patch is always a tricky fixture. Next you look at when the Manchester United games are. We are playing them very early in the season at home on 13 September. This will be a good game to win as it will give the team confidence for the rest of the season if we can beat them. We are due a win against Manchester United and I think come 13 September we will prevail.

Next, I always look at who were are playing in the hectic Christmas period; it doesn’t look too bad, the only tricky fixture is Arsenal away but the rest should not pose much of a problem for us. Then I look at the last month of the season as hopefully we will still be in contention come then and those will be matches we would have to win. In the last month we play Newcastle, West Ham, West Brom and Spurs. All games are winnable and I do not see any of those four teams challenging for the title so they should all be wins for us. The nice thing is the last game of the season is at home against Spurs so hopefully we will be parading the Premiership trophy then!

For a rundown of the whole fixture list you can look at our Fixtures & Results page.
