OurKop.com is back!

Dear Liverpool Fans,
We apologise for the lack of activity on OurKop.com over the last month. We have been upgrading our server inorder to meet the demand the fans bring by visiting the website.

We are pleased to announce that all is back online now and the OurKop.com will be blogging again. We hope to have you joining in the discussions we will be having through out the rest of the season. It has been a tough start to the season for Liverpool and it is funny how our slump in form coincides with OurKop.com being offline.

Hopefully now that we are back online, our fortunes can change for the better.

Happy New Year from OurKop.com

Compliments of the season everyone. Firstly, I would like to apologise for the lack of updates on the website over the last couple of weeks. With all the holidays, we have been travelling up and down and had very little time to access the Internet. But now all systems are resumed and we are set to keep the posts rolling for 2009.

There is nothing better than seeing us at the top of the league and hopefully we will remain top for the rest of the season.

Three Cheers

I hope this is right but I have heard it through the “Rons Crib” grapevine that today it is Ron’s, our own Captain Fantastics birthday. Let me be the first from Our Kop to wish him a Happy Birthday with a little Irish Blessing -

May the winds of fortune sail you,

May you sail a gentle sea,

May it always be the other guy

who says, “this drinks on me”

So lets toast to a long life and a merry one.

A quick death and an easy one.

A pretty girl and an honest one.

A cold beer - and another one.

Happy Birthday Ron - YNWA

I recorded the first half of one today, and will be passing it along to Ron in the near future. I just thought I’d give everyone a heads up that it was on the way.

It’ll be about half an hour of me rambling about the squad and maybe taking a jab or two at Martin O’Neill. Not to mention you’ll get to hear my lovely voice. What more could you want?

You can e-mail me any suggestions, questions, comments, etc. at:

Anyhow, have a good one and here’s hoping that by the time you hear from me next that this whole Barry retardedness will be behind us one way or another.

=)

Manchester United in Cape Town

Now you must be wondering what the heck I am doing talking about Manchester United on a Liverpool website. This weekend, Manchester United play Kaizer Chiefs in Cape Town, South Africa. Now, I live in Cape Town and the stadium they will be playing in is not too far from where I stay. It is not often, ‘top’ football teams come over to Cape Town to play soccer. All the Manchester United fans I know are really excited about seeing their team. Most of them only get the chance to see their team play on TV. I would feel the same if Liverpool were to ever come to Cape Town. So I was given the oportunity this week to go to the game tomorrow and see Manchester United play. But, I turned it down!
