Fenerbahce are looking to finalise a deal for Valencia midfielder Sofiane Feghouli, according to Fanatik in Turkey. The Algerian international has had interest from both Liverpool and Manchester United.

The 26 year old’s contract is set to expire this summer and is expected to leave Valencia after falling out of favour at the Mestalla. The winger was suspended by the club after reportedly refusing to take part in a warm down after Valencia’s 2-1 victory over Sevilla in early Apreil. The suspension was lifted a few days later after an investigation was carried out by the club. Feghouli appeared as a substitute in the Sevilla match but has not played for the team under interim coach Pako Ayestaran since.

According to Fanatik, Habib Andor, Feghouli’s agent has been seen in Istanbul, and is talking with Fenerbahce’s representatives about completing a free transfer for the player. Feghouli has played 29 times for Valencia this season, scoring 4 and assisting two others, although he has made only 13 starts.
