Colombian striker Marlos Moreno has described the possibility of playing in Europe as “a dream.”

The 19 year old, who plays for Atletico Nacional in his native Colombia has been linked with Liverpool, Benfica, Sevilla, Santos, Deportivo la Coruna, Genoa and Paris Saint-Germain in the last month, and the pacey forward commented to O Jogo when asked about playing for a team like Benfica in Europe:

“Of course, playing in Europe is a dream. All Colombian players have this goal. Benfica are a very important team, one of the best in Portugal and would be a dream to represent it.”

Moreno has helped his Atletico Nacional to the Colombian league Finalizacion title and the Superliga Colombiana this campaign, and he has also been given his international debut by manager Jose Pekerman in a 3-2 victory over Bolivia in a World Cup qualifying match back in March, assisting Juan Cuadrado to score Colombia’s winning goal.
